Has anyone looked into the possibility that George Lennon might have tried using public transport to head south? I know his family thought he might have been trying to get to Florida. It's a long shot, but sometimes people with Alzheimer's try to revisit places related to strong memories. Could it make sense he had some connection to Florida? Maybe he tried to board a bus or train without anyone realizing his condition? Even after all these years, it might be worth checking records from transit authorities, just in case something pops up. What do you all think?

Does anyone else find it strange there were no reported sightings of George Solomon Lennon after he went missing, especially given that he was an elderly man and could have easily stood out in a crowd due to his confused state? You'd think someone would notice an 80-year-old wandering around looking lost or distressed. With New York being so densely populated, it's hard to imagine he just disappeared without a trace. I wonder if there are any public records or security footage from that time that might show where he went. Also, I've read that he may have tried to go to Florida, but I can't help but wonder if he got turned around and ended up in a completely different area. There must be someone out there who saw something. Has anyone heard if there were other missing persons cases in Queens around the same time that might somehow be related?

Has anyone looked into whether George Solomon Lennon might have inadvertently gotten on a bus or train heading out of the city? I know the family mentioned Florida, but he could have ended up anywhere. With his Alzheimer's, he might not have been fully aware of his surroundings. Public transportation doesn't always keep the best records of who gets on and off, especially back in 1999, and it seems like a plausible scenario for someone who could have ended up far from home quite unintentionally. I wonder if returning to check any old surveillance or ticket records might shed some light? It's a long shot, but any lead could help.
