Has anyone else found it odd that it took 18 years for Curtis to be arrested, despite the early signs pointing to him? I mean, selling her jewelry right after she disappeared and the bleach smell at his place seem like pretty big red flags. It makes me wonder about what else was going on behind the scenes in the investigation. Were there issues with evidence collection, or did something change that finally led to his arrest in 2018? Would love to hear any thoughts or if anyone has more info on why it took so long.

Has anyone else found it strange that Curtis was able to sell Dina's jewelry? Wouldn't she have noticed they were missing from her belongings, especially if some pieces were borrowed? It's unsettling to think about how easy it seemed for him to pawn them off, and yet it took so long for the authorities to connect the dots. Why wouldn't someone at the pawn shop have questioned him, especially if the jewelry looked obviously feminine and he was alone? It's little details like these that make me wonder how many more overlooked clues there might have been in this case. If anyone knows more about how pawn shops handle situations like this, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.

I find Dina's case so haunting, especially with how everything seems to link back to Curtis. Has anyone else been thinking about the significance of the bleach smell in Curtis’s house? It’s like such a glaring clue that something awful might have happened there, yet without physical evidence, it seems so challenging to bring closure to this case. I know bleach can be used for cleaning, but the timing is too coincidental. It’s hard not to imagine that it was used to cover up some evidence. Anyone who’s followed other cases like this—do you think there’s more to this piece than meets the eye, or is it sometimes just a misleading trail? Keeping fingers crossed that they find more tangible evidence soon.
