I've been following Riley Floyd Thomas's case on and off for a few years now, and something that's always struck me as odd is the timing of when he was reported missing. If Riley was dropped off at the bus station on January 31, but wasn't reported missing until April 6—over two months later—that's a huge gap. I know his ex-daughter-in-law was the one to report it, which makes me wonder about the dynamics within that family. Was there a reason Richard or any other family members didn't report him sooner? It seems like a lot of time passed where potential leads could have been missed. I can't help but wonder if someone knew more than they let on during those two months. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Maybe someone who's more familiar with how these investigations usually go?

I keep thinking about the timeline of events in Riley Thomas's disappearance. Something just isn't sitting right with me. If Riley was dropped off at the bus station on January 31, why did it take over two months for anyone to report him missing? I understand family dynamics can be complicated, but that's an awfully long time. Was there any confirmed sighting of him at the bus station, or is that based solely on Richard's account? It seems crucial to establish if Riley even got on that bus. And considering Richard was involved in forging checks, it's hard not to question his version of events. I'd love to hear your thoughts or if anyone remembers similar cases where time gaps played a key role.

Has anyone taken a closer look at Riley's medical issues and how they might have played a role in his disappearance? With Parkinson's and congestive heart failure, I can't help but think that traveling by bus might have been particularly challenging for him, or even risky. I've seen cases where health complications are underestimated in missing person investigations. It makes me wonder if he could've encountered a medical emergency either en route or shortly after arriving in Houston, leading him to seek help from someone unsavory, maybe? Just a thought. Also, I'm curious how thorough the checks into hospitals or clinics in the area were during that time. It’s been quite a while, but can’t hurt to revisit those aspects.
