Has anyone else been looking into the neighborhood dynamics around Yorktown Avenue around the time Annie Doris Horne went missing? I’ve been reviewing some of the old news articles and interviews, and I find it curious how little mention there is of anyone noticing anything suspicious leading up to her disappearance. It’s almost like she vanished without a trace in a busy area where you’d expect someone to have seen something. With her van and all those personal belongings left behind, it's almost as if she didn’t plan to leave initially. I keep wondering if anyone in the community observed unusual behavior from her husband back then or noticed tensions that weren’t discussed publicly. It would be interesting to find out if there were neighbors who felt something was off or heard anything strange but didn’t think much of it at the time. Does anyone know if the police ever conducted door-to-door inquiries, and were any potential witnesses overlooked or dismissed?
