Has anyone looked into the possibility of a link between Crystal's disappearance and the cab driver who was supposed to take her to East Dubuque? I know nothing concrete came from the initial questioning of Steven and David Peacock, and Mootz's statement didn't add much clarity either. But what about the cab driver? Who were they, and have they ever been identified or questioned about what they saw that night? Seems like if Crystal was planning to share a cab and never made it, that could be an avenue worth exploring. Maybe someone at Knickers Saloon remembers which cab company frequented the place, or if there was a regular driver who might have noticed something unusual that evening. Given that Crystal’s belongings were left behind, it feels like piecing together her movements from the bar onward is crucial. Would love to hear if anyone has info or ideas about this angle of the case.
