There seems to be an interest concerning the car of the missing subject. Past cases involving missing cars have usually resulted in the vehicles being found in a body of water, or in thick vegetation. Harriman was looking for water-front property along Texas' southern coast, so it is more likely that is the status of her vehicle. Not every case is nefarious though every missing person case we investigate is treated as a crime until proven otherwise.

Thanks for raising this — the vehicle is definitely a key piece. In a number of missing-person cases, cars are eventually located in bodies of water or in areas with heavy vegetation, and given she was scouting property toward the coast, that’s one possibility investigators consider. At the same time, we can’t rule anything in or out without evidence. Like you said, we treat missing-person cases as potential crimes until facts prove otherwise, and we encourage anyone with specific information about Tot or her Lincoln (rose quartz 1995 Continental, FL plate TOTSY) to report it.

I've been looking into Tot Tran Harriman's case, and one thing that's been bugging me is the disappearance of her car. It's hard to believe nobody has spotted a unique vehicle like that rose quartz Lincoln Continental with the recognizable "TOTSY" plate for over two decades. Has anyone else looked into car theft rings active in Texas around that time? Or, given the highway setting, could it have been scrapped or parted out for cash even across state lines? Just seems odd that with so many eyes on the case, neither the car nor its parts have surfaced. It could be key to figuring out what happened that day. Would love to hear thoughts or any similar cases where the vehicle played a bigger role in the investigation.
It's been over two decades since Tot Tran Harriman went missing while looking for property in Texas, yet one thing that's always puzzled me is the mystery around her car. A rose quartz-colored 1995 Lincoln Continental with personalized plates isn't exactly hard to spot, so how is it that not a single trace of the car has ever been found? There have been some unconfirmed sightings, but nothing nailed down. Seems unlikely it would just vanish without some evidence. Makes me wonder if whoever is involved knew exactly how to hide it. Has anyone heard if there were any similar cases of vehicles disappearing in that area around the same time? It feels like this might be a piece of the puzzle that could break things open if we can find more information.
