Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on the Hubert Valdez case, and something that’s nagging at me is the location where his truck was found. It's so bizarre that it was just abandoned in an open lot near Mesquite Street and Frontage Road. Does anyone else find it strange that nobody recalls seeing or hearing anything that night, especially since there was reportedly a fight involving him? I wonder if there might have been some kind of cover-up or if people just brushed it off as another late-night bar scuffle. Also, considering the proximity to the bar, isn’t it likely someone else at Gilbert's saw something that hasn't come to light yet? Sometimes it’s the seemingly insignificant details that lead to a breakthrough in these cold cases. Any locals here with insight or thoughts on this?

I recently came across the disappearance of Hubert Valdez, and something about the location of his abandoned truck caught my attention. It was found near Mesquite Street and Frontage Road, which is pretty close to where he was last seen at Gilbert's Lounge. Given the timeline, I wonder if there might be any surveillance cameras in the area that could have captured something useful back then. Although it's been quite a few years, maybe there was a business or a traffic camera that recorded those moments after he left the bar. Have there been any updates regarding any such footage, or is it something that was possibly overlooked due to the age of the case? Sometimes these overlooked details can crack the case wide open.
