Hey everyone, I've been following some of the older unsolved cases in Philadelphia, and I can't help but think about Edwin Ruiz's case from 2009. It's been years now, and I imagine the lack of closure is incredibly tough for his family. A detail that caught my attention: the location of the shooting on North Palethorpe Street. Does anyone recall if this particular area was notorious for violence back then? I know the city overall struggled with crime, but was this street a known hotspot? It's frustrating to see cases like this remain unsolved, and I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must feel. If anyone has more context or info about what was happening in that neighborhood during those years, maybe it could help paint a clearer picture. Let's keep talking about Edwin and see if we can keep the conversation alive to get any closer to justice for him and his family. Any input is greatly appreciated.
