I keep reading about vanished persons and it always gets me thinking about something more specific, like Vernon's case. Does anyone know if there was any surveillance footage from the shopping center where he was last seen? In 2003, I’m not entirely sure what the tech situation would have been like at that particular location. I'm curious if the area had cameras and if they've been reviewed thoroughly. It seems like it could have been a potential lead, considering it was a busy intersection. The mystery of what happened after he left the car is just mind-boggling. Anyone with info on how thorough the initial investigation was in terms of available surveillance?
