I have been reading up on Mary Alice Cox's disappearance lately, and something caught my attention that I haven't seen discussed much. Has anyone looked into the possibility that she could have stumbled into a bad situation by accident, like hitching a ride with someone dangerous without realizing it? Given her mental health issues and the fact that she wasn’t taking her meds, it's possible she might not have recognized the danger. The purse being found so far away seems odd to me—like maybe she was trying to get farther than just the nearby area. I wonder if any local drivers were ever questioned back when she first went missing? Just some thoughts. It would be great to hear if anyone else has looked into this angle or if there's more info out there! ?
