Has anyone else looked into the community's activity around the area of Jerry's disappearance on October 3, 2004? I did some digging and found that there was a small local event happening not far from the facility that day. It makes me wonder if Jerry could have encountered someone from that gathering. I know events like these can draw a variety of people, and with him being without medication, it's possible he might have approached someone or accidentally left with them. I'm curious if investigators have considered this angle and spoken to attendees from that day. It just seems like a detail worth exploring. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I've been following Jerry Smith's case from Poughquag, NY for a while now, and I've been thinking a lot about the location where he was last seen. It’s intriguing to me that his last known sighting was in the backyard of the facility for disabled veterans. It seems like it would have been a busy place, possibly with staff and other residents around. I wonder if anyone who was present that day had more info but maybe didn't realize it was important at the time. Could there have been other sightings or noises that were overheard? Someone might have seen something without knowing it was relevant, especially if there was any shift change happening around that time. It feels like these small details could be crucial in figuring out what happened. Anyone else thought about what might have been going on in that area at the time?
