I've been following Doug Holway's case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the condition and location of his car. Why leave it on a remote Forest Service Road? It's like he either wanted to be far from everything or never intended to go back to it. With his medical conditions, could it have been more of a necessity to stop, or was there another hand at play? I admittedly don't have much insight into car abandonment in missing persons cases, but it seems involving authorities and the family more actively in searching nearby areas around Skate Creek might yield something. Thoughts on why someone would choose such an isolated spot?

Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Douglas Gene Holway and something that's been on my mind is his car being found on that remote Forest Service Road. Does anyone else think it's odd that the keys were left inside? It makes me wonder if Doug planned to leave it there or if someone else parked it and just walked away. Skate Creek isn't exactly close to where he was last seen. Could it be that it was deliberately placed there to mislead investigators? Anyone familiar with the area or know of any similar cases in that region? Would love to hear some thoughts or theories!

I can't stop thinking about why Douglas Gene Holway's car was found all the way in Lewis County at Skate Creek. It's a pretty remote area, and from what I recall, it's not a straightforward drive from Puyallup. I mean, what was the plan here? Really, what brings a person to such an isolated spot? It makes me wonder if he was meeting someone or if he went there often for some personal reason. Maybe it was a favorite place of his from earlier in life? Also, given his medical conditions, it worries me how far he might have been able to walk if he left the car on his own. Area is pretty vast with lots of terrain that wouldn’t be easy to manage even for someone in perfect health. Just thinking out loud here, but did anyone in the area notice anything unusual around the time he went missing? Anything that stood out—maybe something seemingly insignificant at the time? In cases like this, any small detail could be crucial.
