I was recently reading about the Stephen Michael Lankester-Cox case, and something caught my attention—his boot that was found in the woods. I wonder why only one boot was found and what condition it was in. Could it mean he was trying to run or escape from something? Or maybe it was just a random drop during the struggle? It's strange to think about what led to the boot being in the woods while nothing else was found nearby. Would love to hear others' thoughts or theories on what that could imply about his last moments or whoever he might have been with.

Does anyone else find it curious that one of Stephen's boots was found so close to his home, yet there haven't been any other significant discoveries in the area? Considering the proximity, it seems odd that nothing else turned up in that wooded area. I wonder if the authorities did a comprehensive search around the spot where the boot was found. It could be that the boot was intentionally left there to mislead investigators or maybe Stephen was trying to find his way back? It's been so many years, and the case is still so puzzling. Has anyone heard if there have been any more recent searches in that area, or maybe they've revisited the site with new technology over the years? If anyone local has insights or has heard anything more recently, it would be great to know. This case deserves to be solved.

Has anyone else noticed how odd it is that Stephen's boot was found so close to his home, yet there haven't been any other significant clues in the area? It seems strange to me that only one boot would be found, and nothing else has turned up in nearly two decades. Was the area thoroughly searched? I’ve been following cases like this for a while, and it’s unusual that something like this would be the only piece of physical evidence recovered, especially when there’s strong suspicion of foul play. Could it have been deliberately placed there as a diversion? Just curious if anyone else has thoughts on this or knows more about the search efforts that were made back then.
