Hey everyone! I’ve been closely following Katherine Stobaugh’s disappearance and something I find really strange is the timing of when her family reported her missing. It seems odd to me that it took until January 3rd, 2005, for them to do so. That’s nearly six days after she was last seen! From what I understand, she was really committed to her teaching job and regularly in touch with her family. It doesn’t add up why it took almost a week for someone to notice she was missing and report it. Did her estranged husband Charles say something to the family that made them think she was just taking time alone? Or was it purely because they genuinely believed she'd pop up and it wasn’t unusual for her to go off the radar briefly? If anyone has more context on this, I’d love to hear it!
