However, the next morning, her vehicle was found parked outside his residence with the keys inside, but Katherine was nowhere to be found.
Katherine's family reported her missing on January 3, 2005, after she failed to show up at her teaching job and had no contact with her children or relatives. Investigations revealed inconsistencies in Charles's account of events. For instance, he claimed to have called her several times, but phone records contradicted this.
