Has anyone else found it odd how the fire investigators initially mistook non-human remains for human ones at Charles Monroe's site? Could this have misplaced the focus early on? If something else happened to Charles, maybe these initial errors in judgment derailed the investigation from the start. It was such a unique living situation for him, being in a barn with those dogs; surely, this would lead to some interesting leads. Yet, the fact they had no DNA evidence or even human remains left kind of suggests that something unusual happened. Could it be that someone used the chaos of the fire as a diversion for his disappearance? I'd love to hear others' thoughts on how these early investigatory missteps might have impacted the direction this unsolved mystery went.
