Does anyone else find it odd that Amanda's car was found with the purse inside but no keys, wallet, or phone? It's baffling that she left some things behind but took others—or maybe the items were removed by someone else? Also, I'm really perplexed by the fact that her Pontiac Sunfire didn’t have working AC, yet Westfall claimed they stayed inside the car for hours discussing things. I seriously doubt anyone would choose to sit in a hot car by choice, especially at 8.5 months pregnant. I wonder if investigators have considered these contradictions when evaluating his story? It’s frustrating to think these little details might hold the key to understanding what really happened that day.

Usually, if someone’s planning to go somewhere voluntarily, they’d take essentials like their wallet or phone. This makes me wonder if Amanda ever got the chance to leave the parking lot herself. The lack of air conditioning in the car during a hot August day also seems to conflict with what Westfall claimed about them sitting in the car. Anyone have ideas on what else might've happened with those missing items or if anything in the car aside from the purse might hint at her movements that day?
Did anyone else come across details about the temperature on the day Amanda disappeared? I can't shake the fact that it was noted how hot it was that day, and Westfall's claim that they sat in the car for hours sounds pretty suspicious. For those who were in the Hillsboro area back in August 2005, do you remember how hot it really was? I feel like the temperature could potentially debunk part of his story unless there’s something else we’re missing about where they might have gone instead. Anything that might seem trivial could help piece things together.
