Has anyone else wondered about the weather on the day Smith went missing? I’ve been looking into the details, and it seems that September 6, 2005, was a pretty normal day weather-wise in D.C. I couldn't find any reports of storms or unusual conditions that might have hindered search efforts or caused him to seek shelter. Given that it was a typical day, it makes me curious—did Smith leave planning to return, or was it intended to be a longer departure? With so few details about his case, understanding the environment and what he might have been facing outside could provide some insight. Maybe someone with more local knowledge from that time can chime in?

I’ve been looking into the Smith case, and something that stands out to me is the timeframe. Smith was last seen at 1:00 p.m., which is an unusual time for someone to just vanish into thin air. Was he headed somewhere specific, or was there any indication he was planning to meet someone? I can’t help but wonder if there was any security footage from nearby businesses or traffic cameras in the area at the time he disappeared. It seems odd there’s so little information available about his movements that day. Anyone else find the lack of details odd, especially considering it's a busy area?
