I've been following Valerie Renee Dulaney's case and something that caught my attention is her residence near the 1000 block of E. Harris Street. Does anyone know if there were any known safety issues or unusual activity reported in that area around the time she went missing? Sometimes neighborhoods can have their own dynamics, and it's curious if that might have played any role in her disappearance. Also, does anyone have any thoughts on her possible change of hair color? It's a small detail, but maybe someone saw a blonde woman matching her description in the area. Hoping for any bit of information that could help shed light on this case. It's been way too long without answers.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Valerie Renee Dulaney's case for a while, and something that struck me was the lack of media coverage over the years. You'd think that with a medical condition requiring medication, it would have stayed in the headlines longer. It seems like her story just faded into the background. I wonder if this could've impacted the investigation or public interest? It feels like there wasn't a sustained push to keep her name and face out there, especially since cases from around the same time drew a lot more media attention. Has anyone come across any archived news articles or interviews that gave her disappearance more coverage?
I'm hoping more awareness might shake loose some new information. It’s important we keep talking about Valerie and keep her story alive in hopes of finding some answers. Let's keep sharing what we know and anything new that comes up!
I came across Valerie Dulaney's case again while browsing through NamUs, and something really stood out to me this time around. Her need for medication was highlighted early in the investigation, but I'm curious about what specific medications she was taking and if that could offer any clues about her potential vulnerabilities or where she might have sought help if she was in need. It's been nearly two decades, and any detail, no matter how small, might help jog someone's memory or even point in a new direction. Does anyone know if the type of medication was ever disclosed? Or if lack of access could lead to immediate physical effects that might be recognizable to strangers she could have encountered?
