Has anyone else looked into the rise in unsolved homicides in Philadelphia around 2011? I've been following Rodney Boykins' case—it’s been over a decade now, and it seems like there's still a lot left unanswered. I can't even begin to imagine what his family and friends must be going through, not having closure and wondering when justice will come. It's deeply troubling to think how many families are in this same situation because of the violence plaguing our city. I've read about efforts from law enforcement and the DA's office, but it feels like there needs to be more community involvement as well. Maybe there are people out there with crucial information who haven't come forward yet. Could raising more public awareness help? Would love to know if anyone else has thoughts on how to support these efforts.
I've been following Rodney Boykins' case, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of media coverage it received back in 2011. It's deeply frustrating to see how certain cases get more attention while others, like Rodney's, seem overlooked. I can’t imagine how tough this must be for his family and friends, feeling like his story didn’t get the spotlight it deserved. The limited information available leaves me wondering about the investigation's progress and whether the community could have helped more with awareness. I'm curious if this lack of attention is part of a wider pattern in cases from that time in Philadelphia. If anyone has insights or remembers anything from the area around then, it might help to share. Let's keep talking and hope for answers.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the local community's role in helping solve cases like Rodney Boykins'. It's really tough to see so many unsolved cases and know that families are left in limbo, searching for closure. I wonder how the neighborhood around 8200 Williams Avenue was affected after the crime. Were there any community meetings or efforts to gather information from witnesses at the time? It seems like sometimes people might be hesitant to come forward, but there has to be some way to encourage more cooperation without putting anyone at risk. I'm hoping that as a community, we can raise more awareness and support Rodney’s loved ones in their search for justice. If anyone remembers any details from back then or has ideas on how to help, it might be worth discussing here.
