Hey all, I've been following the updates on the McMartin case and something has been bugging me. Does anyone have more info on the weather conditions in the area around the time of the crash? It's not uncommon for sudden weather changes to occur in that region, and I can't help but wonder if that played a role in their plane going off course. I read somewhere that the area near Mt. Leeper can be especially unpredictable with rapidly changing weather patterns. Also, does anyone know what precautions, if any, were in place for small aircraft flying over that part of the state? It's all just so sad, and I really hope we get more clarity on what might have happened.
