I'm really curious about the detail regarding John's bedroom window. If the window screen was pushed out from the inside, it almost seems like he was trying to leave without anyone noticing. But why out the window and not just through the front door? Wouldn't using the window be more conspicuous if spotted from outside? Also, what was the weather like that night? I wonder if he could have been meeting someone and didn't want to wake his parents with the noise of the motion detector lights. It just seems like such a risky move if everything was fine—did anyone report seeing or hearing anything unusual in the neighborhood around that time?
