Hey everyone, I've been reading through old cases in Philly, and Andre Henry's tragedy just hit me hard. It's disheartening to see how vibrant communities can be overshadowed by violence, and Andre's murder on Chew Avenue is a somber reminder of that reality. What really gets me is the challenges faced by law enforcement in solving cases like Andre's during 2011. It seems that even with increased efforts, there were so many unsolved cases that year. I keep thinking about the families, like Andre's, who are left waiting and hoping for closure that might not come anytime soon. How do we, as a community, effectively support victims' families while trying to reduce these awful statistics? I would love to hear thoughts on any positive community initiatives or how people in Philly have been working together lately to tackle these issues. It's vital to keep the conversation going and support each other in seeking justice. Stay safe, everyone.
