I've been following the case of John Wade Wagner, and something that's always puzzled me is the location where his truck was found. It was abandoned in an alley off Main Street. Why there? It feels like such a strange spot to leave a vehicle—right in the middle of town. Did someone hope it would be discovered quickly, or was it just a convenient spot for whoever was involved to ditch it? It might be a small detail, but I can't help but wonder if the location was chosen for a specific reason. Maybe someone local had knowledge of the town's layout and knew this alley wouldn't be frequented at that hour. It's frustrating that something as seemingly insignificant as the truck's location might hold clues that have yet to be uncovered. Does anyone else have thoughts on this?
I've always been curious about those polygraph tests they did back in 1968 on the two individuals questioned in John Wade Wagner's case. It's so strange that the results were never released. Polygraphs can be controversial, sure, but wouldn't releasing that information help bring some clarity or at least fuel new lines of inquiry? It makes you wonder if there was something specific or significant that came out of those tests. I can't help but feel that someone out there knows more than they've let on. Maybe releasing those details could jog someone’s memory or prompt them to come forward. Thoughts?
