Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the case of Adib Smith lately. It's been over a decade now, and it just feels so incredibly frustrating knowing this young man's murder still hasn't been solved. Philadelphia has such a diverse community, and it's a real shame that someone out there knows what happened but hasn't come forward. I was reading that 2012 was a tough year for the city with these types of crimes. It's like, while some progress has been made over the years, there's still so much work to do. It's important to remember Adib was someone's son, possibly a brother or friend, who had his future stolen from him. On a positive note, I heard that there are new efforts being made by the Philadelphia Police Department to reach out to more people for information. They're using anything they can think of to encourage people to report what they know—I even saw something about anonymous tip lines being highlighted more. I hope this helps to get things moving in the right direction. Sending thoughts to Adib's family and friends. ? If anyone here has any ideas on how we might be able to push things forward, maybe by raising awareness or something, let me know. Stay safe, everyone.
