Hey everyone, I've been following Nikole Betterson's case and something's been bugging me about the timing of events. Jarrett and Barbara left for the west supposedly around Christmas 1977. From what I understand, it was a quick move right after informing Nikole's grandparents. Does anyone else find it odd how quickly they disappeared without any clear plan or destination? Also, with Jarrett’s decision to head to either California or Las Vegas, I wonder what drove him to choose that direction specifically. Was there any known connection they had out west? Maybe financial issues made them rush out without thinking it through, especially considering their living conditions later in Vegas. It just seems like a strange timeline from the accident in September to them taking off at the end of the year. I'd love to hear any theories or more insight if anyone has it!
