I’ve been following Daniel Robinson’s case since it happened, and one thing that stands out to me is the way the community in Philadelphia rallied around his family and friends. Despite the immense pain, it’s so moving to see how many people have been offering their support and trying to keep his memory alive. Daniel touched so many lives, and the outpouring of love and unity shows just how special he was. His girlfriend, Shakeya, has shown unbelievable strength throughout all this. I can only imagine how difficult it’s been for her and Daniel's loved ones to navigate their grief while waiting for justice. It’s important we keep talking about the impact that violent crime has on communities and continue to stand by those who are hurting. Let’s hope the trial brings some sense of closure for everyone who’s been affected by this tragedy. Stay strong, Philadelphia.
