I'm not sure if anyone else has looked into this angle, but I've been delving into the timeline and couldn't stop thinking about the significance of the date Kimberly went missing. September 15, 1979, was right around the time when school would have just started back up. Being 12, she would have been in sixth grade, right? I wonder if she was dealing with something at school or there was some other kind of stress in her life that wouldn’t have been apparent to her family or close friends. It's possible she confided in someone else before sneaking out that night.
Also, it's curious that she called her sister instead of anybody else. Maybe they had a close bond or there was something specific she needed to communicate with her sister. This case has so many layers, and it seems like each aspect could hold the key to finding out what happened that evening. Does anyone know if investigators ever looked into any issues she might have been facing at school or with peers around that time?
