Hey everyone, I've recently come across Kevin Justice's case from 2012, and I can't help but feel deeply for his family and friends, who are still seeking answers. It's been over a decade, and it just doesn't sit right with me that his murder, like many others during that harrowing year in Philly, remains unsolved. What really stands out to me is how prevalent public daytime shootings were, contributing to the fear and tension that gripped neighborhoods. Kevin's tragic death happened outdoors, reminding us just how vulnerable so many young people were — and continue to be — in their own communities. It's both infuriating and saddening to see a city overwhelmed by gun violence with so many cases treated as cold files. I truly hope advances in technology and renewed efforts can push this case forward. No family should have to live with such uncertainty. Maybe there are folks here who have insight into Philly's approach to these older cases. Could revisiting old evidence or a fresh look from new investigators make a difference? Kevin deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Respectfully, any thoughts or strategies are welcome.
