Hey everyone, I wanted to bring attention to a troubling aspect I came across while reading about Stefon Davis's case. It's the sheer number of unsolved homicides in Philadelphia, especially around that time in 2012. I can't imagine the pain his family must feel, knowing Stefon's murder is still unresolved after all these years. It makes me wonder how many other families are in the same devastating situation. The lack of closure is something I feel we don't talk about enough. When justice isn't served, it leaves communities on edge, never fully able to heal or move forward. Each unsolved case adds to the collective trauma. It’s critical that we support efforts like those of the Philadelphia Obituary Project in bringing these cases back into public consciousness and urging anyone with information to come forward. It's disheartening that, despite the ongoing appeals, Stefon’s family and so many others are still waiting for answers. We need to keep sharing these stories, keeping the memory of victims like Stefon alive, and pushing for more resources to get these cases solved. If you know anything, please don’t stay silent. Stay safe, everyone, and let’s keep hoping for justice.
