Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about how William Hudson's murder happened on Christmas Eve of all days. It's such a cruel irony that a time meant for peace and togetherness was marked by such a tragic event. I read about how his killing was one of so many during that year, but something about it being on that specific day just feels extra painful for his loved ones. I'm really curious to know more about what was going on in Frankford back in 2012. It seems like the neighborhood was really struggling with crime, and it makes me wonder if there were any particular efforts being made at the time to combat this wave of violence. Were there any community initiatives or local leaders speaking up more after William's death? Anyone here from Philly who remembers how things were back then? I just hope that with time, the community can continue to heal and push for the change that is so clearly needed. If anyone has insights or memories about the situation that year, it would be really valuable to hear. Thanks for listening. ❤️

Hey everyone, I stumbled upon William Hudson’s case and can’t stop thinking about his family, especially around the holiday season. It's so tragic to see a young life ended so abruptly, and on Christmas Eve of all days. I imagine this time of year is particularly difficult for his loved ones. It's frustrating to see reports where another young person becomes a statistic due to gun violence, especially in neighborhoods like Frankford where this seems all too common. I’m curious if anyone knows about the kind of community support or outreach that might have been available in Frankford around that time? It seems there’s often a disconnect between those programs and the people who really need them. I hope William's story can shine a light on the importance of these efforts and maybe encourage more community involvement. Seeing the city struggle with these issues for so long, it's clear that changes need to happen fast. My thoughts are with his family and anyone else who has been impacted by this, and I hope justice is served.
