Has anyone else been following the Larry Mercer case from San Antonio? I'm particularly curious about the CLEAR Alert that was issued. I know it's a relatively new system in Texas aimed at finding endangered adults, but I'm wondering if anyone knows how effective these alerts have been historically? It's strange to me that the alert was discontinued so quickly, only after a few days. Does anyone have more information on how and why these alerts get discontinued? It seems like it happened really fast, and I wonder about the decision-making process behind it. Hoping for some clarity if anyone familiar with the system can weigh in!
