I recently stumbled across Andrew Economou's case and found myself really puzzled by the fact that his 1974 blue International Scout was never found. Has anyone else looked into the rarity or uniqueness of that vehicle? It seems like a pretty distinct car that would stand out, especially if it was abandoned somewhere. I’m curious if there were any leads on potential sightings of the vehicle in New York City or nearby areas after his disappearance. Could it have been scrapped to cover any tracks? The fact that no one’s seen it since August 1981 adds an extra layer of mystery to this case for me. Maybe tracing the vehicle’s VIN could provide more clues, assuming that's been checked. Anyone have any thoughts or additional information on this angle?

I was digging into Andrew Economou's case again and couldn't help but wonder about that mysterious friend he was supposedly loaning $100,000 to. Does anyone have more info on who this friend might have been? It seems odd that he’d carry such a large amount of cash just for a personal favor. Given the whispers about organized crime, is it possible this “friend” was more of a business associate tied to something illegal? I feel like identifying this person could shed a lot of light on what actually happened to him. Maybe someone out there remembers any relevant business dealings around that time in NYC that could connect the dots. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I recently got caught up in the Andrew Economou case from 1981, and something piqued my curiosity—his truck. Does anyone know if the make and model of his vehicle, a 1974 blue International Scout, was particularly rare or distinctive at the time? I’m wondering if it's possible that someone could have spotted it or remembered seeing it if it was, say, left abandoned somewhere. Also, considering how nobody’s ever found it, do you think it's more likely that it was hidden somewhere intentionally? Would love to hear thoughts or if anyone has come across similar cases where the missing person's vehicle played a key part in solving things.
