I’ve been digging into Joel Bravo's case again, and something about Javier Acevedo Garcia's involvement keeps bothering me. What do you all make of his conflicting statements? On one hand, he claims he wasn't in contact with Bravo, and then he admits to being in the apartment when the shooting happened. It's just mind-boggling how someone could flip their story like that. Why risk such serious charges if he really wasn’t involved or trying to protect someone?
I can’t help but think there’s more to Garcia’s story, and it’s frustrating because the truth could bring some much-needed closure to Bravo’s family.
