I’ve been thinking a lot about Lamar Brown's case recently, especially how it still remains unsolved after all these years. It’s so upsetting to imagine the pain his family must be going through, not having the answers they deserve. With the West Oak Lane area having a history of these occasional bursts of violence, it’s concerning that more hasn’t been done to prevent incidents like this. I wonder if there are any new strategies being implemented by the local authorities to encourage more community cooperation. Trusting in law enforcement is crucial, but it may take more community-based initiatives to really break that cycle of silence that’s been hindering investigations in cases like Lamar's. Hoping someday soon, someone will feel safe enough to come forward with the information needed for justice.
