Hey everyone, has anyone looked into the timeline around when David Elliot Penton became a person of interest in Amber Crum’s case? I was going over some old articles, and it seems like Penton wasn't linked to Amber's disappearance until years after his other convictions. Makes me wonder if there’s something specific that prompted investigators to reconsider him in 2007. Also, I read somewhere that he was involved in the disappearances of other young girls in Texas during the same time. Seems like a pretty big leap if they didn’t have concrete evidence connecting him to Amber. If anyone's got more info on this aspect, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts or theories. It's frustrating knowing there's a long gap in the investigation timeline with so many unanswered questions.
I was reading about Amber Crum's case and something that caught my attention was the involvement of David Elliot Penton back in 2007. It's eerie how his name keeps coming up in connection with various missing children cases. I understand there's no direct evidence linking him to Amber, but how many coincidences can there be? It makes me wonder if there might be more to his potential involvement that law enforcement hasn't been able to confirm yet. It’s so frustrating that after all these years, we still have no concrete answers. I’m curious if anyone else thinks there might still be untapped leads connected to Penton or if authorities have thoroughly exhausted that avenue. Surely, after nearly 40 years, someone knows something that could bring Amber’s case some closure. Would love to hear your thoughts on this angle.
