It's unsettling to think about how quickly someone can vanish without a trace, like in Leslie Anne Porter's case. I’ve been pondering why her earrings were found on the living room floor. She cherished those and would likely not have just left them lying around. It makes me wonder if this was a subtle cry for help or an indication of something happening unexpectedly. Also, the unlocked door is strange to me. Could it imply someone familiar? I strongly feel that whoever took Leslie knew her or at least knew her routine well enough to strike at the perfect moment. What do you all think? Could the earrings and unlocked door be more clues than they initially seem?
