Does anyone else find it weird that there were no solid leads in Shannon Potter's case even with the media attention? I mean, Baltimore is a pretty big city with lots of people around, so you'd think someone would have seen something. I wonder if the area around her home was canvassed thoroughly enough back then, considering the resources available at the time. It's frustrating how these efforts can sometimes fall short despite everyone's best intentions. I hope the renewed efforts and attention lead to some long-awaited answers for her family. If anyone has more info about the search process or locals who were involved back then, it’d be helpful to hear how things were handled and if there's anything new we could be looking into today.

Hey everyone, I’ve been diving into the Shannon Potter case from back in '84 and something stuck out to me—how quickly the community rallied around her family. It's clear that Shannon was loved by so many, and the way everyone mobilized with flyers and organized searches speaks volumes about the support system she had. What really amazes me is the level of community involvement at that time. It makes me wonder if there’s something unique about communities in smaller neighborhoods or if this level of togetherness still happens today when a young person goes missing. Anyone have insights or similar experiences? Let's keep discussing and maybe we can help keep Shannon's story alive.
