I was doing some reading on old missing persons cases, and Walter West caught my attention. It's perplexing how someone can just vanish like that with hardly any trace. What I find particularly interesting about his case is the lack of information or any confirmed circumstances surrounding his disappearance. It makes me wonder if there were any potential sightings or tips over the years that just didn't lead anywhere or if it's just a complete mystery to everyone. I also think about how technology could play a role now, even if it wasn't much help back then. With the advancements in forensics, perhaps additional evidence could be uncovered if new techniques were applied to any existing items or records. It’s just so baffling that after all these years, there seems to be very little for investigators to work with. Maybe someone out there remembers something that could finally shed some light on what happened to Walter. What do you all think about how cases from the '80s can be tackled with today’s tools?
