I've been thinking a lot about the events leading up to that tragic night at the Diverse Banquet Club. It's hard to wrap my head around how, even after all these years, no one has come forward with any information. Jasmine Morris was so young and had her whole life ahead of her. It's clear that not only her family but the entire community has been affected by this senseless act of violence.
Does anyone remember if there were any security cameras in the area back then? I wonder if any footage was ever recovered or if it was too dark. Sometimes I feel like there are just too many unanswered questions, and it’s really frustrating and painful for all those who cared about Jasmine and Demetrius. It would be a huge relief for her loved ones, and everyone impacted, if some kind of resolution could be found. Let's hope that someday, somehow, someone will find the courage to speak up.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the events that took place at the Diverse Banquet Club that night in 2013. It’s chilling how Jasmine Morris and Demetrius Broadnax lost their lives and yet, after all these years, no one has been held accountable. I can't imagine the pain and frustration Jasmine’s family must feel every day, knowing the case remains unsolved.
I wanted to bring up the subject of witness silence. It’s really puzzling to me how no one has come forward with any information, considering there were multiple people at the venue that night. I understand that fear can play a massive role in these situations, especially if someone thinks they're putting themselves in danger. But I feel like there must be people out there who have seen or heard something that might help. It’s just so hard to comprehend that a tragedy like this lacks any leads or breaks in the case.
We often discuss the impact on the victims' families, and rightfully so, but I also wonder about those who were there and survived. Carrying the weight of knowing might be a heavy burden. Maybe someone in the community has ideas on how we can create a safer space for witnesses to come forward or any initiatives we could propose or support. Any thoughts? How can we help, even in small ways, to keep Jasmine’s memory alive and to support her family in their quest for justice?
I’ve been following Jasmine Morris’s case ever since it happened, and it’s incredibly frustrating to see it still unsolved. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain her family has endured all these years without any closure. What haunts me the most is the thought that someone out there knows what happened that night at the Diverse Banquet Club. It's disturbing how, even years later, no one has had the courage to step forward with information. Keeping silent is like letting this shadow hang over Jasmine’s loved ones indefinitely. I just keep hoping that someday, someone will finally come forward, and we’ll see some movement in getting justice for Jasmine and the other victims. Anyone else feel the same? Thoughts?
