Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Moua Xiong from Atwater and can't stop thinking about how difficult it must be for his family after all these years without answers. It’s frustrating to see cases like this sitting unresolved, and I keep wondering about the people in the community at that time. Maybe someone saw or heard something that seemed insignificant but could actually be a crucial piece of the puzzle now.
The advances in technology give me hope that we might see a breakthrough. DNA technology has solved so many cases recently, so fingers crossed the Merced County Sheriff’s Office can use any advancement there to get some answers. It's crucial to keep this case in the public eye so it doesn’t slip away among the other cold cases. If anyone has the smallest bit of information, it could be what finally brings justice for Moua and peace for his family.
My thoughts are with them in their continued search for the truth.
Stay safe,

I recently came across Moua Xiong's case, and I just can't seem to shake it. It's one of those stories that lingers in your mind. I've been digging into various unsolved cases and this one is particularly haunting. Moua was only 22 when he lost his life, and it's frustrating that after all these years, there hasn't been a resolution for his family.
The Merced County Sheriff's Office keeps urging the public for any information, no matter how insignificant it might seem. It just makes me wonder: is there someone out there who knows something but hasn't come forward yet? Maybe they saw or heard something that seemed trivial back then. It's unsettling to think how many cases like Moua’s might hold the key to justice in overlooked details or forgotten memories.
If anyone here has any insights, or even if you just want to discuss theories, I’d love to hear your thoughts. We can only hope that with time, and perhaps new technology, we'll get closer to answers and finally bring some comfort to Moua’s loved ones who have endured so much uncertainty for far too long.

Has anyone looked into the possibility of using genealogy DNA like other cases have done recently? I've read about some really impressive breakthroughs in cold cases because of these newer techniques. Maybe it could be a viable path for Xiong's case too? I really hope the investigators can find something soon. His family deserves to know what happened and have some peace. If anyone has any info or suggestions, please reach out to the authorities. Let's hope they find the break they need soon.
