Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the Russell Bovit case from 1986, and something that's really sticking out to me is the involvement of Garth Drew. It’s intriguing how Drew, a convicted murderer, came forward with that detailed story about Russell’s body being disposed of in a U-Haul and dumped in Lake Willoughby. It makes me wonder if this was an attempt to lead investigators down the wrong path. After all, nothing was found in the lake despite the search. Do you think Drew could’ve been involved in Russell's disappearance or was he just using this as a ploy for his own reasons? It’s puzzling, especially considering Drew’s background. I’d love to hear what you all think about Drew’s connection and whether there’s a possibility he knew more than he let on, or was it just a wild goose chase? Let's discuss!

Hey sleuths, I've been diving into the case of Russell Bovit and just can't stop thinking about the blue Renault and what those bloodstains might really signify. It seems unusual that the car was found stuck in the mud quite a distance from the farm. If Russell was indeed planning on attending a meeting, you’d think he wouldn’t drive out somewhere remote, right? It makes me wonder if whoever was involved intended to make it look like he was heading somewhere specific or if the car was taken there as part of another plan. Also, the effort to flip the mattress to hide blood stains in his house is telling. It seems too deliberate and points to someone who was either familiar with him or the layout of the farm. With the car apparently abandoned, it's kind of perplexing why the motive wasn’t robbery. Anyone else have theories on this aspect or thoughts on the significance of the locations tied to this disappearance?
