I just can't shake the eerie detail about that light-yellow car spotted near where Michelle was last seen. Does anyone have info on similar vehicles in Scranton during that time? It seems so specific, yet no solid leads came from it. Given how Michelle knew Frank Osellanie, who also had ties to the auto industry, could there have been any undiscovered link between his shop and that car? Even though he was never charged, it feels like there might be unexplored angles with people he associated with or cars that came through his business. I really hope someone remembers something that could jog a new lead. Thoughts?

Has anyone looked deeper into the connection between Michelle and Frank Osellanie? I came across some articles mentioning how Michelle knew Osellanie through her visits to his auto shop. It makes you wonder what kind of conversations they had or if maybe she mentioned anything to her family or friends about her visits. I know he was never charged and is no longer alive, but could there have been any overlooked evidence or leads stemming from those interactions? It seems odd that there wasn’t more emphasis on exploring this angle considering his criminal history. I get that we might never know for sure, but maybe there's someone else who worked at the shop back then who noticed something unusual or who she may have spoken to. What do you all think—could there still be avenues related to Osellanie to pursue, even today?

I find it so intriguing how crucial witness accounts can shape a case. In Michelle Lakey's disappearance, that light-yellow car is such a key detail, but it's baffling that it didn't lead to more during the initial investigation. Did they ever track down any similar-looking vehicles in the area back then? Considering the technology back in 1986, I wonder how much info they were able to gather. I hope there's someone out there who remembers or had seen something that could bring a break in the case. It always amazes me how even the smallest detail noticed by someone can shift the entire direction of an investigation. Anyone else think there's room to reexamine this aspect with modern techniques? What are your thoughts on the significance of that yellow car?
