Does anyone else find it strange how quickly the situation escalated at the memorial? I get that emotions run high at these types of gatherings, but it's so unsettling to think about a peaceful event turning into such a tragic scene. I can’t imagine the emotional toll it must have taken on Edward Deakings' loved ones, being there to honor another life lost and then experiencing such a nightmare. My thoughts go out to them, and I hope the community finds some peace and that this sparks meaningful conversations about preventing further violence in what is typically a safe neighborhood. It's also concerning how difficult it seems to be for authorities to piece together what happened with so many people there. Let’s hope for some breakthroughs soon.
