Hey everyone, I've recently been diving deep into Alicia Markovich's case, and something keeps bugging me—the anonymous letter from 2000. Has anyone else found it odd that someone would send a hoax letter about her whereabouts after such a long time? It just seems so cruel and out of the blue. I can't help but wonder if the person who sent it might've known more than they let on, or if they were just playing a sick joke. It's baffling that someone would give false hope to a family that's been searching for over a decade at that point. Thoughts on this? Could it have been an attempt to mislead investigators, or just a random prank? Would love to hear your insights!

Does anyone else find it odd that the argument between Alicia and her dad is often brushed over? I understand that teens and parents argue all the time, but something about that day seems bigger than a typical disagreement. Alicia supposedly ignored her dad's instruction to return by 8:00 p.m., which feels significant to me. From what I've read, it wasn't typical behavior for her to just walk away like that. Could there have been something else said or done that day that pushed her to react differently? I'm curious if any neighbors or locals remember seeing or hearing anything out of the ordinary that day. Every detail could be crucial. Has anyone looked into people who might have been in the area around the time she went missing?
