Wow, I just read about Garvin Matthews' tragic killing on August 20, 2007. It's been over a decade, and it seems like his family is still waiting for answers. What's really tough to wrap my mind around is how his case is one among so many that were never solved back then. It must be incredibly difficult for his loved ones to carry that uncertainty all these years, wondering what really happened and why no one has been caught. I noticed that Philadelphia at the time was battling a surge in homicides, and it's maddening to think that a community could be so affected by violence. It really makes us appreciate those who are brave enough to come forward with information, but it's so frustrating when leads dry up. Has there been any recent push or movement to highlight unsolved cases like Garvin's in local media? I feel like public attention can sometimes reignite these investigations. If you're from the area or familiar with any efforts, I'd love to hear about them. Communities need these reminders so we don’t forget those who’ve been lost and in hopes of someday finding justice.
