I've been reading up on the Ronald Dean La Valley case, and I came across something intriguing. It seems like there was hardly any media coverage when he first went missing. Considering he vanished in a relatively small town like Boulder Creek, you would think there would've been more local attention at least. Does anyone know if there were any community search efforts at the time or maybe a local volunteer group that got involved? Usually, smaller communities rally together in situations like these, and I can't imagine that Ronald's disappearance didn't affect the town. It just seems odd to me that there aren't any newspaper clippings or posters from back then circulating online. Maybe someone from the area remembers more details? This case really could use some new leads.
