Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about the tragic case of Anwar Dempsey and how it relates to the broader issue of gun violence in Philly. It's just so troubling how these incidents happen in broad daylight, yet there seems to be such a struggle to bring those responsible to justice. What really gets me about Anwar’s case is the lack of witnesses stepping forward. I know it can be daunting and scary, but it feels like there must be someone who saw something that day on Delancey Street. It's just devastating to think about what his family has been going through these past years, not having any closure. This case highlights an urgent need for community members to feel safe and supported when providing information. Does anyone have thoughts on what can be done to encourage more people to step up and speak out? I’m hoping, like many of you, that someone will come forward soon to help find justice for Anwar and others like him. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone affected. If you have any ideas on how we can better support these efforts, please share.

I was reading about Anwar Dempsey's case again today, and something that really sticks with me is the time and place it all happened. Broad daylight, right on Delancey Street. How can something so terrible occur when people must have been around? It's unnerving to think about the fear this must have instilled in that community. There has to be someone who knows something, even if it seems small. His family and friends deserve answers, and the community deserves to feel safe again. I really hope anyone with information finds it in their heart to come forward. Every little detail might help piece this puzzle together. Let’s keep Anwar’s memory alive and support each other in seeking justice.

Does anyone else feel like the location of Anwar's shooting is significant? I was looking at some maps, and the 5200 block of Delancey Street is pretty close to some other incidents that happened around the same time. It makes me wonder if there’s some underlying connection between these areas and the spike in violence. Maybe there's a pattern or a hotspot that the police need to focus on? It's just so tragic that Anwar got caught up in this. My heart goes out to his family and friends – they deserve answers. It’s painful to think that someone’s life can end so suddenly and senselessly, and nothing really changes. Hoping someone who knows what happened finally steps up and helps bring some peace to this case. ? Stay safe, everyone.
