Anwar Dempsey, aged 39, was tragically killed on August 4, 2014, in Philadelphia. Around 4:09 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 5200 block of Delancey Street. Upon arrival, they found Anwar suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Police rushed him to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
