I've been digging into Maria's case and something that really gives me chills is that phone call she made to her parents. I've seen some people speculate about the call getting disconnected, but is there any consensus on whether it was accidental or intentional? It’s eerie to think she was so close to giving crucial information and then the line just cuts. Could it have been the guy trying to stop her, or just a freak coincidence? Anyone know if the police ever traced the call to get a rough idea of her location at that time? This could be such a key aspect of understanding what really happened.
